So you might’ve heard that Nintendo just launched a new music streaming app called Nintendo Music! I don’t reaaaally want to rant about it here, but suffice it to say that I’m not exactly thrilled about it.
But! It’s now a source of localized track titles for a bunch of music that did not previously have official translations. Including the song title from Splatoon 3 that I chose as the title of this blog!
So I’ve changed the parenthesized part of the title from “Test Noise,” which was a direct translation of the Japanese テストノイズ, to the new translation of “System Noise.” I think it also fits the blog quite well, and it also has the benefit of being two characters longer, because the longer the title, the funnier it is to use it.
