Back to Trussonic! We’re again featuring Yuji Yajima on bass and Tappi Iwase on drums on this one. There also exists a special edition of this album sold at live events with an extra track, “Dejavu,” which I have not listened to and may not ever listen to.
This is a mini album with just four (or five) tracks, and one of them was expanded on on the later album Echoes forever. Don’t feel super strongly about this one, it’s not bad but of the three albums I’ve listened to, I’d say this is the one that’s the most “just kinda there.”
Recommended track:
- “Awake” is IMO the standout track, and not just because it has another piano slam in it, the 1:55-2:44 section is really great
