Info
Drop dead gorgeous album of pretty, acoustic sounds—guitar, piano, spoken word, chimes, environmental noises, etc.—chopped and processed to hell and back with a variety of effects and finished off with synths and other electronic noises. At once introspective and expansive, natural and mechanical. Constantly moving, evocative, and emotional. Really cool!
Recommended tracks:
-
“36523_red/blue” extensively mashes some vocals in a way that reminds me of something I can’t quite think of (maybe “Credits” by Frums, but I don’t think that’s it)
-
“Dream Extinction” is the scariest, most intentionally ugly track on the album, which is its own kind of beauty
